FEEDING DIRECTIONS

XL Mare Kubes are formulated as a protein, vitamin and mineral supplement to be fed along with good quality pasture or hay. Broodmares During Gestation Feed 3 to 4 pounds per head per day in addition to free-choice hay or pasture. Broodmares During Lactation Feed 4 to 6 pounds per head per day in addition to free-choice hay or pasture. Adjust intake according to stages of lactation, pasture conditions and body condition of mares. Mature Pleasure Horses Feed 2 to 4 pounds per head per day plus hay or pasture. Adjust amount of feed according to pasture conditions and desired body condition. Yearlings on Pasture As a protein, vitamin and mineral supplement and to help guard against metabolic leg disorders of growing horses, feed 3 to 4 pounds in addition to good quality hay or pasture. Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water. Bring horses on this feed gradually over a 2 to 3 week period and follow good feeding management practices.
